Σκέφτομαι πάντα αυτές τις ζεύξεις και τις συνυπάρξεις με τον τρόπο που ανοίγουμε μία ντουλάπα και βλέπουμε να συνυπάρχουν ανόμοια αντικείμενα, τακτοποιημένα, τα οποία όμως εξακολουθούν να διατηρούν αραχνοΰφαντες συνδέσεις μεταξύ τους. Μέσα στο αυτόνομο σύμπαν της ντουλάπας τα ανόμοια συνδέονται. Αυτές οι «απρόσμενες εκπλήξεις», αυτά τα κοινά σημεία, σχηματίζονται όταν εμπλέκονται διαφορετικές τεχνικές έρευνας και σχεδιασμού. Όταν, για παράδειγμα, ένα βιβλίο σχεδιάζεται σαν μια αρχιτεκτονική κάτοψη, ένα λογοτεχνικό αφήγημα ή μια μουσική παρτιτούρα· ένα μανίκι ράβεται, όπως μια χειρουργός συρράπτει το τραύμα στο τέλος της επέμβασης και ούτω καθεξής. Αυτές οι «παράξενες» συσχετίσεις υλικών και άυλων πραγμάτων βρίσκονται στον δομικό πυρήνα του studioαseviα ανασυνθέτοντας τα όρια του φανταστικού και του πραγματικού. I always think of these connections and coexistences in the way we open a closet and see dissimilar objects coexisting, neatly arranged, yet still retaining spiderweb-like connections to each other. Within the autonomous universe of the closet, the disparate are connected. These 'unexpected surprises', these commonalities, emerge when different research and design techniques are involved. When, for example, a book is designed like an architectural plan, a literary text or a musical score; a sleeve is sewn, like a surgeon sutures the wound at the end of the operation, and so on. These "strange" correlations of material and immaterial things are at the structural core of studioαseviα, reconstituting the boundaries of the imaginary and the real. Το νήμα γίνεται γραφή και τα εργαλεία χάραξης αντικαθιστούνται από τα εργαλεία πλέξης. Εδώ, η ενδυμασία του Καστελλορίζου αναδεύει μνήμες ποικίλες -μυρωδιές, εικόνες, αφηγήσεις, βιώματα. Thread becomes writing, and carving tools are replaced by weaving tools. Here, the dressing of Kastellorizo stirs up various memories - scents, images, narratives, experiences. I feel great joy and gratitude for this collaboration with MELE - Museum of the History of the Greek Costume of Lyceum Women's Clothing @lykeionellinidon and the beloved curator&nbsp;Tania Veliskou, whom I thank very much for the trust she showed me!
